Five Minute Walk Project
The Five Minute Walk Project is a project where you walk around an interesting place, and take some pictures of what you see. Then when I had about 30-40 pictures, I chose my favorite ones and compiled them onto one page. For this project I walked around downtown Newburyport
Panograph
For this project, I had to make anywhere from 50-100 pictures of an area, and then put them together to make a big picture. It was almost like a big puzzle. For this I went to the Boston Commons, which is located in the center of Boston. It took me about 5 minutes to shoot the pictures, and 2 whole classes to put them together with photoshop. In total I had about 90 pictures.
Picture In a Picture
Part One: Actual Picture of a Photograph
For this project, I had to have one real picture, and the place that the real picture was taken. I printed the picture of my house in the winter, at Walgreens, and then I took another picture of that picture. As you can see here, the printed picture is almost perfectly aligned with the present day picture. It took me about 5 seconds to take the picture, and I turned the brightness up and contrasted it in Photoshop.
Part Two: Frame and a Picture
For this project, the assignment was that I had to make a picture with an open frame, and then take another picture with an open frame with something else in it. What I did was put an open frame down on my steps, and put three pumpkins in the background. Then I took another picture with my dog behind the open frame. Then, I took the inside of the frame of the first picture, and I put it in the frame of the second picture. This was all done with PhotoShop in my digital photo class.
